Our academic curriculum is always focused on our mission: “Empowering Students as Learners.” In an ever-changing technological world, it is important that our students excel not only in the basics, but also with technological competence.

In addition to our comprehensive core curriculum, CCCS also offers support services to students, parents and the community as a whole.

Our Eighth Grade Graduates are really going places! One CCCS Guidance Counselor dedicates 100 percent of his time to helping CCCS Achievers find the High School that will best allow them to achieve their full academic potential. Our Eighth Graders are going on to attend prestigious private, charter ,or out-of-district public high schools. Below is a list of some of the schools they are attending.
In addition to our comprehensive core curriculum, Chester Community Charter School (CCCS) also offers supplemental support services to our students, parents and to the Chester community. These services aim to improve and maintain a functional learning environment, both on and off campus, affecting children at school, home and play.
Tutors in the Classroom is an initiative to hire degreed, full-time tutors, who will work with teachers and students providing assistance in literacy and numeracy, grades 3 - 8. Tutors will support the work of the teacher and assist students with special projects. The tutors will help strengthen students’ skills in math and language arts by working with students in small groups or one-on-one sessions. Tutors support teachers in tracking student progress and assist in differentiated instruction to ensure student growth.
Every Friday, 7th-and 8th-grade students are chosen to read children’s books to Kindergarten students in West Campus, Building A, under the direction of Principal Timeka Ford-Smith. Two students are assigned to each Kindergarten room. Prior to the reading sessions, kindergarten teachers can choose what books are to be read to their students, especially for books that may tie into their curriculum.
Imagine a technology program built to increase reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing proficiency. Now imagine this program supports students by providing them with activities that will assist in raising reading levels by using differentiated instruction. Achieve3000 is that program. It focuses on students’ individual needs by tailoring non-fiction articles to their current reading level. 
The Enrichment Program was created to provide opportunities and resources for the development and application of creative and critical thinking behaviors. The curriculum is based on CCCS’s core curriculum which includes Pennsylvania State Common Core Standards and Renzulli’s Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM).
Mission Statement  Chester Community Charter School’s (CCCS) mission is to equip English Language Learners (ELL) with the language proficiency and independence necessary to meet or exceed state and district content standards while preserving the individuals language and culture. 
Chester Community Charter School has established partnerships with colleges throughout the region.
