The Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund makes discounts available to eligible schools and libraries for telecommunication services, Internet access, and internal connections. The program is intended to ensure that schools and libraries have access to affordable telecommunications and information services.

Since 2006, CCCS has received discounts for the following specific services:

• Telecommunications (phone services)
• Internet Access Services (e-mail and website provider contracts)
• Internal Connections (expansion of the school’s cabling and servers when Building C West was constructed and upgrading of the system’s firewall), and
• Basic Maintenance of the CCCS network each year
