Gifted And Talented Enrichment Program

In the 2008-2009 school year, Chester Community Charter School (CCCS), as part of an ongoing effort to provide the highest quality education to its students, introduced and implemented a new Gifted and Talented Enrichment Education Program for students in the second through eighth grades.

The Gifted and Talented Enrichment Education Program challenges students to become self-directed, lifelong learners through a diverse and flexible curriculum. It is designed to assist the most academically prepared students to learn at an accelerated pace, and to work in peer groups with other gifted students, which will improve the overall quality of learning. The program is a collaborative effort involving parents, administration and classroom and special area teachers.

An important goal of the CCCS Gifted and Talented Enrichment Education Program is to prepare the students to be accepted for study at the most challenging and prestigious high schools in the Delaware Valley.
