High School Search and Selection
The High School Search and Selection process offers CCCS 7th and 8th grade students a one-on-one session to conduct a needs-based, educational analysis, of each individual student, for purposes of high school selection, recruitment and placement.
In addition to students' one-on-one review with our certified HSSS Counselor, group sessions are also offered to present and explain high school options. This program organizes a high school night that more than 15 local and regional high schools and scholarship organizations attend.
Through the program, students participate in high school visitations days, where they visit their individual high schools of interest. CCCMS also hosts information sessions, wherein the same area high schools visit the West Campus to make presentations.
This program offers assistance with printing and filling out applications, student essays, entrance exam information, letters of recommendation and interview preparation groups. In addition to the student assistance, High School Search and Selection also offers parent and student family guidance and financial aid information to assist a family with choosing the best school for their situation.
Once our students are about to graduate from CCCS, we launch a process called High School Search and Selection to assist them in identifying the very best high school for furthering their academic progress. Over the past four years, our graduates have gone on to attend high-quality secondary schools such as Cardinal O'Hara, New Beginnings Academy, Westtown School, Malvern Preparatory, Monsignor Bonner, Smedley Allied Health, World Communication Charter, The School of Science and Discovery, Archmere Academy, West Catholic High School, and Padua Academy, just to name a few.
