Feature Story: Sharona Brown – Profile of a CCCS Parent

By Katie Hammer: Sharona Brown is a busy woman.  “I’m very tired,” joked the mother of four children – Da’Naziah (14), Donte (13), Daz’sha (11) and Daniah (9).  Her three oldest children attend Chester Community Charter School.  Sharona is also the president of the PTA in addition to working as a Therapeutic Activities Specialist at Fair Acres Geriatric Center.

On Thursday, April 4, 2013, Chester Community Charter School (CCCS), the largest K-8 charter school in Pennsylvania, will hold the "Make a Difference Campaign" with Philadelphia Eagles' LeSean McCoy, and singer, BriaMarie (The Fresh Princess), to proactively promote the upcoming Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) exams and anti-bullying awareness. Lori Wilson, news anchor, WCAU-TV 10, will serve as the program's host.
