The Math Games
Ms. Nichols’ 7th grade class participated in a “Hunger Games-Style” competition filled with Math facts and lifelines. The students paired up and competed against each other as they figured out math problems to see who could survive “The Math Games”. While one student worked dauntlessly to write down the answers, the other student carried lifelines to assist their teammate. Players had the option to continuously change the game on their opponents by opting to switch the question, ask for help, or select multiple choice answers. Only the ones with quick wits and strong math skills would move on to the next round. As the teams dwindled throughout the Games, the competition grew more intense until only one victor remained!
