Dr. David E. Clark, Jr.’s career has always centered on helping children thrive. Beginning as a social worker in Delaware, he quickly realized the impact he could make inside the classroom and became a special education teacher in the Brandywine School District. His commitment to student success led him into school leadership, where he served as an assistant principal, principal, and charter school CEO.

In 2011, the Board of Trustees selected Dr. Clark to lead Chester Community Charter School as its Chief Executive Officer. Since then, he has guided CCCS with a focus on innovation, teamwork, and strong support systems for students.

Dr. Clark holds degrees in Human Services, Special Education Instruction, and Educational Innovation and Leadership from the University of Delaware and Antioch University. He also works with the Pennsylvania Department of Education as a special education peer monitor, helping ensure quality services across the state.
