West C - Imagination Hall

Rene Garner began her service as Principal of West C, Imagination Hall, in 2022.  Ms. Garner brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge, having previously served as principal in a district middle school, the executive director of an early education program, CEO of a charter school, and several other distinguished positions.  She holds a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Saint Joseph’s University, as well as Master’s Degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education from Cheyney University. 

Lisa Ruszkay is the Building Director for West C, Imagination Hall.  Ms. Ruszkay has been with the school since 2003, when she came to CCCS as a fourth-grade teacher.  For nearly the last 15 years, she has been a building director.  In her long tenure with CCCS she has enjoyed seeing some of her past scholars as the parents of current ones.  Ms. Ruszkay began her career in early childhood development before coming to CCCS.  She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in education from Cabrini College.
